BREAD

Bread is good source of complex carbohydrates and high in niacin, riboflavin and other B complex vitamins. Bread is huge variety of baked goods available to us at our supermarkets and bakeries today different shape and it represent a dietary melding of dozens of diverse cultures. The simplest and oldest breads are flat, or unleavened; they are made by mixing flour or meal with water and then baking, frying or steaming it. In many industrial countries the most popular breads are made from wheat flour, which produces a product a product with a light texture. Bread provides starch, protein and some vitamins and minerals it is far from being nutritionally complete. In general whole grain flours are more nutritious than their highly processed counterparts; they also provide more dietary fiber.

Diabetes Capital of the world

Diabetes though strictly not a disease, is a condition which lead to several serious diseases some of them life threatening. In India, the incidence of diabetes is growing at an alarming rate and unless the trend is reversed, our country could soon be the Diabetes Capital of the world. While today there is no permanent cure for Diabetes, there are options available for managing the condition and leading a near normal life. Diabetes is a condition where the sugar level in the blood becomes too high as the body is unable to regulate it to remain with in acceptable limits. Glucose, which comes from foods that contain carbohydrates like bread, pulses, dairy product, fruits and vegetables, travels through the blood stream to various muscles and organs where it is as a fuel.

Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes is a temporary form of diabetes that occurs during pregnancy, when certain hormones stop insulin from work properly. It is normal detected during a routine screening test at 28 weeks. Gestational diabetes is usually treated with healthy diet alone. At times insulin injection may be required. Women who have had Gestational diabetes can prevent type2 diabetes later in life through healthy eating and physical activity. So eat healthy and stay healthy.

Lower You Cholesterol Level

Bad cholesterol or LDL cholesterol, which stands for low-density lipoprotein, can clog your arteries and lead to heart disease. Good cholesterol or HDL cholesterol, which stands for high-density lipoprotein, carries unneeded cholesterol away from body tissues, so it lowers your risk of heart disease. Your diet should limit the amount of fatty and cholesterol-rich foods you eat.

Type 1 diabetes



Type 1 diabetes occurs in about15% of all cases of diabetes. While it usually occurs in people under the age of 30, it can happen at any age. Type 1 diabetes occurs when the body’s immune system destroys the cell of the pancreas that produces insulin. It is believed that virus or chemical may cause this reaction in people who are genetically predisposed. Type 1 diabetes can develop quite suddenly and person may have rapid and significant weight loss over sever weeks. In older people it may be less rapid.
